     Marshels redecorated three rooms in my awkward flat to a really high standard.  Well organised, good communication, helpful advice on finishes, reassuringly experienced in dealing with the various surfaces and minor surprises. Decorators rightly proud of their work, soldiering on through a mad heatwave as well.

     I would just like to say how fantastic Marshels of Farnham have been, from the initial phone call to Adam, to the completed job. Dave and his team, have not only done an amazing job in our office reception area and meeting rooms, but you would never have known they had been there, the clean up is spotless. They were professional, polite and the paint work is to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Dave and his team.

     Steve was exceptional, fast and detailed when I contacted him for our large kitchen project which needed painting in a short timeline. Our painters Shane, Mark and Drew were really lovely chaps. They worked around us brilliantly (no easy feat with 3 kids!), provided a finish to a high standard, were agile as I adjusted things at times and completed the project beautifully and on time. We have discovered a wider network of services within Marshels which we would now be very happy to use. And certainly will be using them for more forthcoming projects we have coming up. Shane, Mark and Drew you were all fabulous and lots of fun to be around. Thanks for all of your efforts to get things just how I like them. We really appreciate it!

     What a clean, polite and friendly team that work well and diligently. Martin and his team, especially the dynamic duo of bros, Drew and Jake have been fabulous. They even washed their cups up!! Above and beyond! I would HIGHLY recommend using Marshels. Family run and with great values as they clearly care and look after their workforce. What an incredible experience!

     James did an amzing job decorating our bedroom. He was incredibly thorough with the preparation. Our walls were in an awful state. He expertly hung intricate wallpaper. The  finish was flawless. James was professional, reliable, extremely tidy and very respectful. He was a pleasure to have in our home. I was highly satisfied and would highly recommend Marshels but especially James.

     I embarked upon a new commission:  to design another cinema interior for clients of longstanding some twelve years on from my previous cinema project for them, but this time I was the one resourcing the various operations.  I wanted to realise what was to be a highly specialised design;  that of an authentic but scaled-to-size 1930's art-deco cinema/theatre mini auditorium within a basement room.  In addition to other trades' operations for the art-deco light fittings, curtains and fabrics, carpets and bespoke furniture/upholsterers, the core of the whole operation was given over to the one business that I could see would be capable of working with me right the way through.  I cannot begin to give enough praise to the artisan levels of skill-sets possessed among the personnel that work for Mr. Jamie Elstow of Marshels.  At no stage of the project did anyone question what I was wanting to achieve, and my schematic drawings were not only followed to the letter, but additional ideas were inputted from the contractors that were indicative of their full understanding and appreciation of the look and feel of the design through their positive contribution and enthusiasm.  What was created being a benchmark example of the golden age of cinema/theatre architecture that speaks volumes of their combined efforts and attentiveness.  As such, I fully intend to be repeating this with any further upcoming projects with this business that delivers. Carl Beckwith - Audio Visual Consultant - Designer.

     We have used Marshels a number of times at work, the team, led by Darren, are fabulous. They are efficient, professional, friendly and helpful. Not to mention, they have a great work ethic, integrity and are honest. Our residents praise them and they do a great job, going out of their way to be accommodating. Very Thoughtful and Quiet

I wanted to let you know how incredible your team is. I have been working from home for a couple of weeks now and was fairly apprehensive about the possibility of the building works not continuing but separately what it would be like to work from home with a large number of people in the house.
Your team however have made this seamless and rather pleasant. I won’t name everyone, but Mike is extraordinary. (My favourite if I am allowed one). Always happy, incredible attention to detail, ultra- friendly but it’s obvious how much he knows and how much he manages the project and always helping anyone who needs him. He is here early every day and leaves the house spotless at the end of each shift. Max is a great young apprentice. Its seldom (and I work with a large number) that you find millennials with his work ethic. Max seems to take in a lot of instruction well and his own attention to detail has been brilliant. Dom and (Eamonn) have also been great. Dom’s painting is always perfect. The lines exact and the paint work on cupboards or walls all looks highly professional and Eamonn is a machine, he works and works but is always so polite. Paul’s plastering has hubbie looking for additional projects to give him simply to see how incredible his work is. I am slightly worried hubbie is going to buy a period church simply to have Adam plaster it. And finally, the electricians Ryan and Mark. I have had some really great conversations with Mark and the lighting has completely changed the upstairs of our house, from rather dingy to something I will be proud of when completed. Finding the right lights for my son’s room seemed an impossible task but Mark would not stop until they worked as he felt they should. My son will love it when we finally move him back into his room. Tony and co on the plumbing have kept the same tradition of excellence and although I was working they were in and out of my study they were very thoughtful and quiet throughout the process.
